The 2024 BSI Customer Summit – Recap

On November 5 and 6, 2024, it was time again at last. At the magnificent Gottfried Duttweiler Institute (GDI) in Rüschlikon and with the gift of gorgeous fall weather, we had the great privilege of welcoming more than 1,100 guests, both onsite and virtually, to the BSI Customer Summit. Under the motto “The Elements of Success,” experts came together to share their recipes for success, learn from each other, and network. Together with our audience, we dedicated ourselves to the questions of what success means today for us and for every individual personally and what elements shape successful customer relationships.

About 60 speakers shared their experience in CRM, CX, and AI at the 2024 Customer Summit and inspired everyone with project insights and best practices. The Summit participants, professionals from sales, marketing, service, and IT throughout the DACH region, gained valuable information about current technology trends, such as:

We had two days that were filled with great inspiration, meaningful discussions, and valuable encounters. There was a lot of applause – including for the winner of the BSI Companion Challenge: Jessica Bender, who hails from BarmeniaGothaer, was utterly convincing with her idea of recognizing insurance potential in contract documents. Congratulations, Jessica!

Most importantly, as every year, there was the joy of togetherness, the shared culinary enjoyment, and our gratitude for so many BSI customers, a lot of whom have been with us for a long time.

Summit highlights, summarized in 130 seconds:

A presentation with a surprise effect

Day 1 of the Customer Summit was dedicated to the BSI Customer Suite. As the first and last speaker, Chris Rusche provided a successful framework and inspired everyone to rethink the customer relationship with his “We are giving you a pony” message.

A zoo analogy

On Day 2, the focus was on our communities with captivating use cases and solutions. A highlight, not only for animal lovers, was the presentation by Martina Büchler-Friedli and Pascal Schaffroth from PostFinance AG, who humorously compared their processes to starting and managing a zoo. The most memorable: the crypto toad.

An amazing woman

This year’s Customer Summit lineup of presentations concluded with a special keynote address. The extreme athlete Anja Blacha took us along on her expedition to the South Pole, shared her Elements of Success, and explained to us why just 11 additional steps can or could make an enormous difference.
