The prestigious Eisenhut Award for sales software, awarded annually since 2000, is considered the “German Championship of Sales Support.” The award is intended to elevate the quality of sales support that is provided through suitable software to private and corporate customers for insurance protection and risk prevention.

The ultimate accolade

For almost a quarter of a century, insurance companies, sales organizations, associations for sales professionals, and software companies have met annually at the Hotel Eisenhut in Rothenburg ob der Tauber to participate in the finals of the award of the same name. For good reason, because the Eisenhut Award enjoys an excellent reputation in professional circles and was launched to recognize the quality of sales support provided by sales software. It is awarded by KuBI e.V., an initiative of the German Association of Insurance Sales Profes-sionals (Bundesverband Deutscher Versicherungskaufleute e.V.), and the Leipzig insurance forums (Versicherungsforen Leipzig).

What did SIGNAL IDUNA and BSI receive the award for?

SIGNAL IDUNA, together with BSI, developed a digital customer journey. On behalf of the sales partners, this digital customer journey makes customers aware of new products and offers at the right touchpoints. The jury was impressed by the result, too: digital cross-selling and upselling processes, from newsletters and text messages to personalized landing pages. At the recent presentation of the 2024 Eisenhut Award, SIGNAL IDUNA and BSI won the “Sales Tools Award.” The following highlights stood out:

Increased efficiency
Through automation and seamless integration into BSI CX, SIGNAL IDUNA was able to align and accelerate processes, resulting in a significant increase in the efficiency of its sales support. For example, with BSI CX, SIGNAL IDUNA’s field sales partners can now close sales immediately during on-site sales consultations with customers.

Enhanced customer satisfaction
The personalized engagement with insurance customers and simplified sales closing processes have increased customer satisfaction and loyalty. With so-called “one-click campaigns,” SIGNAL IDUNA’S end customers receive individualized cover letters with links to landing pages. They can then make rate decisions independently, download the relevant documents, or finalize contracts online.

Independence and flexibility
Beyond the BSI Customer Suite’s noteworthy out-of-the-box solutions and easy configurability, the BSI Masterclass graduates among SIGNAL IDUNA’s sales experts have acquired significant expertise, ensuring a high degree of self-sufficiency. As a result, they can work very independently and flexibly with the support of only occasional reviews and best practices sessions with BSI.
